Giorgio Armani: Made In Milan

In 1990, the same year Goodfellas was released, the director Martin Scorsese had also worked on a small project called Made in Milan. The film is about Giorgio Armani, in which the designer discussed his creative process, his family, and the role of the Italian city in his work.

By the time this documentary was shot, Giorgio Armani had already collaborated in a number of films, mainly in the costume and wardrobe department of films like American Gigolo and Untouchables to name a few.

This rare 20-minute film, penned by Jay Cocks (Gangs Of New York, The Age Of Innocence, Mean Streets), explores the history and philosophy of Armani before capping off with the designer at work at a fashion show.
